Privacy Policy

How Consultin AI Pty Ltd collects, uses, and protects information — including data accessed through the Google Ads API for our own accounts.

Effective: 1 May 2026 · Last updated: 1 May 2026

1. About this policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Consultin AI Pty Ltd (“Consultin AI”, “we”, “us”, or “our”), an Australian proprietary limited company based in Sydney, NSW, handles personal information. It applies to this website (consultin.ai) and to any data we process while delivering AI consulting, IT consulting, and digital marketing services to our clients.

We comply with the Australian Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs).

2. What we collect

2.1 Information you provide

If you contact us by email at [email protected], we will receive whatever information you choose to send — typically your name, email address, and the content of your message.

2.2 Information collected automatically

Like most websites, our hosting provider may record basic technical information (IP address, browser type, page requested, referrer, timestamp) in standard server logs for security and reliability purposes. We do not run third-party analytics or advertising tags on consultin.ai itself.

2.3 Information accessed via the Google Ads API

Through our Google Ads API access, we read and write campaign, ad-group, ad, keyword, conversion, and performance data only for Google Ads accounts that we are authorised to manage, which sit under a Google Ads manager account (MCC) operated by Consultin AI Pty Ltd. Each managed account is linked to our MCC with the explicit consent of the account owner.

3. How we use information

  • To respond to direct enquiries sent to [email protected].
  • To operate, secure, and maintain this website.
  • To manage Google Ads campaigns and produce reporting for the clients whose accounts we are authorised to manage.
  • To meet our legal, tax, and regulatory obligations as an Australian-registered company.

4. Google Ads API data — specific commitments

Data accessed through the Google Ads API is used solely for managing and reporting on the Google Ads accounts we are authorised to manage. In particular:

  • We access Google Ads API data only for accounts linked to our MCC with the account owner’s consent.
  • We do not sell, license, lease, or otherwise transfer Google Ads API data to any third party.
  • We do not share Google Ads API data with anyone other than the relevant account owner and authorised personnel of Consultin AI Pty Ltd, except where required by law.
  • We do not repackage Google Ads API data into any external SaaS product.
  • We do not use Google Ads API data for advertising or for any purpose unrelated to managing the relevant Google Ads accounts.
  • Our use of Google user data complies with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

5. How we share information

We do not sell personal information. We share information only:

  • With service providers strictly necessary to operate our infrastructure (for example, our hosting provider and Google as the operator of Google Ads).
  • Where required by Australian law or in response to valid legal process.

6. How we store and protect information

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect information from unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. Access to our Google Ads MCC and to internal tooling that uses the Google Ads API is restricted to authorised personnel of Consultin AI Pty Ltd.

7. Retention

We retain enquiry emails for as long as is necessary to respond and for reasonable record-keeping purposes. Google Ads campaign data is retained for as long as the relevant accounts remain under our management, plus a reasonable period for historical reporting. On request from a client, we will remove their account from our MCC and stop accessing it via the Google Ads API.

8. Your rights

Under the Australian Privacy Act, you have the right to request access to, and correction of, the personal information we hold about you. You may also make a complaint about how we handle your personal information.

To make a request or complaint, email [email protected]. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.

9. International transfers

Some of the services we use (such as Google Ads and our hosting provider) may store or process data outside Australia. Where this happens, we rely on the providers’ own privacy and security frameworks.

10. Cookies

This website does not set marketing or analytics cookies. Any cookies that may be set are limited to those required for the site to function correctly.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page reflects the most recent version.
